Is there some lawyer out there who can tell me about fraud? If a person in a commercial business defrauds his company he will be charged even if he returns the money. But parliamentarians who defraud the taxpayer simply repay the money and all is forgiven. Is this acceptable? Is this right?
Could the same lawyer tell me the difference between Slipper and Thomson and Ministers Brandis and Joyce?
I suppose we have an answer in Peter Slippers comments that he had offered to repay the money in question but it wasn’t acceptable to the Liberal Party.
The whole business smacks of fraud, spite about Slipper because he turned on the Coalition, and lack of integrity.
